When EN, in his ever diplomatic and eloquent manner, stated, "Quit being so damn temperamental", I first laughed then thought that yes, I should do something about my enervated condition. So, I turned to Wagner as I always do when my spirit is in need of a jump start. The overture to his opera, Tannhäuser, at wall-vibrating, cat-rattling volume, always puts my feet solidly back on this Earth, ready to do battle with life again.
Here's the musical genius of Richard Wagner. Those violins have a way of exorcising the mind-numbing beast of complacency.
