The XX-Files

An excerpt from a story on WND, Jealous? Could cost you 5 years in jail. In Mexico, you'd better talk to your wife, have sex with her:

Perez Duarte said the law would be a weapon that women could employ to level the playing field with abusive men. She said indifference, jealousy or lack of love were crimes against women just as much as physical violence.

"Jealousy produces a particular type of stress in the person that comes up against it," she said. "It is exactly the same. They are wounds, psychological scars identical to physical scars."

Another example of an action that would put men in breach of the new law is attempting to control how wives dress.

You can never be too thin, too rich, or too tyrannical.

So, after hubby completes his 5 years of timeout for hurting wifey's wittle feelings, he gets to go home and all will be well and everyone will be happy. Right? Problem solved. Never mind that she's been shacking up with another hombre in the meantime and there's no more marriage to come back to. Never mind that she could actually be a skank that caused her husband to treat her this way in the first place. No, the State must at all costs protect and support a woman's right to be whatever she wants, do whatever she wants and above all force men to accept it - using incarceration or lethal force, if necessary. Take your pick, man.

In effect this is divorce with a 5-year jail term added on for good measure - not for breaking any law but because the wife did not like the way her husband was treating her and can now destroy his life even more than she could just through divorce.
